Embedding a PipCircle badge

1. Plain HTML - works everywhere

An image inside a link. Use it in email signatures, marketplaces and anywhere scripts are not allowed. The image is a fixed file for the rating at the time you copied it.

2. Live badge - always the current rating

Same link; the image comes from a permanent PipCircle address. When the rating changes the image changes (cached for at most one hour). Add @2x before .png for retina, or use .svg.

3. Reviews widget - latest reviews

Renders the latest three to five approved reviews (name, stars, date) and a “Read all reviews on PipCircle” link. Keep the link and image inside the container: it is the fallback so the backlink exists before the script runs and if it never runs.

Rules to keep the backlink valid

• Do not add rel="nofollow", do not route the link through a redirect or tracking domain.
• Keep the alt and title text: they carry the company name and rating for search engines.
• Badge addresses stay valid if the company renames itself - old addresses redirect permanently.
• Badges are only served for claimed, published companies; a company that drops below a threshold automatically shows the best badge it still qualifies for.
