How reviews work
Two kinds of reviews, visibly different, so traders and companies can see which came from confirmed customers.
Open reviews
Anyone with a PipCircle account can review any company. Open reviews are fully visible and count towards the public rating.
Verified reviews
Written through a review invitation the company itself sent to its customer through PipCircle, which confirms the reviewer is a customer. They rank first on the profile and show a "Verified review" mark. Companies invite customers regardless of whether they were happy, and cannot edit or remove the result.
Verified trader
A reviewer whose connected trading account is held at the company gets the extra "Verified trader" mark - invited or not.
The rating
Each company shows its overall rating (all approved reviews) and its Verified-only rating with their counts. The overall rating is the public score used for rankings and rating badges. A company cannot reach the Excellent band or the 5-star badge on open reviews alone - at least 10 of the counted reviews must be Verified.
Invitation emails come from PipCircle's domain with the company as the visible sender. The link is personal, works once and expires after 30 days. PipCircle publishes positive and negative reviews alike.
