How to Connect a Prop Firm Challenge Account

Prop firms use private MetaTrader server names. Here's the exact process to verify your challenge or funded account on PipCircle.

Prop firms are different

Most prop firms use private MT4/MT5 servers (e.g., FTMO-Demo2, FundedNext-Server-3). Our connection wizard accepts any server name — you don't need it to appear in the public list.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Settings → Trading → Connect.
  2. Choose MT4 or MT5 based on your prop firm's platform.
  3. Type the exact server name from your prop firm's dashboard. Hit "Search" — if it's not in the list, click "Use anyway".
  4. Enter your account number and investor password (read-only).
  5. Wait 60 seconds — most prop accounts finish provisioning in under a minute.

Display options

You can hide the account from your public profile while still tracking it privately. Toggle "Hidden" in Settings → Trading once it's connected.
